Myopia management

Myopia is a disease of the eye that causes the eye to grow longer than normal. This causes a stretching of the tissues within the eye. Slowing down the progression of Myopia (nearsightedness) could help significantly reduce the chance of developing blinding eye conditions. Imagine the possibility of waking up with clear vision without daytime contact lenses, glasses, or surgery.

Dry Eye Syndrome

Dry Eyes/Meibomian Gland Dysfunction/Blepharitis

Dry eye syndrome usually starts with general eye discomfort, symptoms of grittiness, itching, and/or intolerance to contact lenses. It can then progress to a debilitating disease if not properly treated. If untreated, dry eye can cause constant pain throughout the day, decreased vision, and damage to the ocular surface.

Specialty contact lenses/scleral lenses

Medically necessary contact lenses are specialty lenses that provide clear and comfortable vision to patients with corneal issues such as Keratoconus, severe dry eye, Pellucid Marginal Degeneration, or a post surgical cornea. These lenses include rigid gas permeable, scleral lenses, or even a hybrid lens. These are custom fit lenses and will address the individual’s eye care needs.

Diabetic eye exams

Diabetic eye exams

Diabetes is a multi system disease that can show changes in the retinal vasculature. These changes can lead to leakage in the retina which can be seen during a dilated eye exam. Retinal imaging is strongly recommended in order to photodocument the status of the retina which can therefore be compared year to year to monitor for changes.
